OSTEOSPERMUN

Osteospermun,
 puede que las conozcas también como dimorfotecas, margarita africana, 
caléndula del Cabo, estrella polar o algún otro nombre, 
es una flor vistosa y resistente. 
Los osteospermum son flores compuestas, 
lo que parece una sola flor es en realidad un grupo de flores 
que forman lo que se conoce como capítulo floral y tiene forma de disco. 
En la parte central del capítulo se disponen las flores tubulares, hermafroditas, 
y por la periferia están rodeadas por flores liguladas que son flores femeninas. 
La lígula es la membrana que sobresale hacia el exterior,
